We had now moved from Plan A to Plan B and found ourselves now moving again to Plan C. We had been to Dachau early and this meant we had gained half a day. Our campsite of the night was too close so we chose another just south of Munich. Without the aid of a big map we found ourselves quietly driving down the wrong road. Not a problem as we were heading for Lake Chiemsee and all that would happen is we would have to backtrack half an hour tomorrow to get on the right road again. Conversation was stilted. What can you say after the visit we had just had. Words were failing us and all we kept saying was Why? Why? We drove in silence until we reached our stop for the night.
