Ye Old Salt Old Salt, that is too FUNNY! Didn't expect too see you, LOL! I see Jean at Cape Bear lighthouse. Wow Point Prim Lighthouse is nice. Cape Bear looks to have nice red soil, even the rocks look red. Cool, Fox! I haven't seen one in years, like years. Glad you mention that one PEI crop, I wouldn't have know it was potatoes, don't think I have ever seen a potato crop. Country looks beautiful.
https://imediasolutions.in/india/logo-makers.php I was searching for the good topic to research and read, I got it this article on your blog, Thank you so much.
Chebucto LOL - looks like they need to cut back some small bushes on that road. Terence Bay looked pretty. I'm surprised there are so many lighthouses, you've got to be 'loving' it. :-)
Beautiful Thank you for sharing. I love reading about your trips.
Looks like your having a wonderful time.
We just got back from Sanibel and a much needed break.
Sandy Point Lighthouse - Panorama Ok - I"m curious in the panorama view of Sandy Point Houselight, what is that on the sand - it looks colorful and I can't make it out.
Lighthouse Pubnico - Photo 04 Lighthouse Pubnico, picture 04 did you put the small rocks on top of other like that? That for sure was human done :-) The fog looked really think in that one picture - reminds me of movie "The Fog"
Rocks You see these stacks all over the place. There is a actually a whole story about these rock-stackings. A cairn, the official term for deliberately stacking rocks, is a mound of stones built as a memorial or landmark. It seems that most no longer have this meaning and there are actually "movements" out there that are asking people to leave the stones alone! LOL. We have seem them in many of our travels. Not sure which ones are actual memorials and which are people just stacking rocks.
Seal Island Somehow this one sneaked by me, glad I clicked on previous. It's funny they write 'here lies the body of", they don't do that any more and I agree 'kind of creepy' - they actually stated how she passed away. It's hard to read but I think it states her child passed away and was buried with her?
Last Lighthouse (bummer) The panorama view is beautiful. Is that someone’s actually house, if so they have an awesome view!
LOL that is funny! on Old Shep (1st pic), there is a guy on that boat looking at you :-)
Question, so even tho the tide was low - is it safe to swim to the Sandy Point light house?
How far up does the tide go on that light house, I see a water line; 6 feet?
Where do all those boulders come from? Do they ship them in and drop them...curious. Love, love the pictures and my trip to Nova Scotia I'm not having. Can we trade places??? LOL
Sandy Point Lighthouse That building is actually a community center. I'm sure you could swim out to the lighthouse, if you could stand the cold water. The tide probably isn't too much there.
Lighthouses Inside the light house looks pretty cool, never seen that before. What’s up with the boat, chair and something on that bench in the picture, I think lighthouses pic 04. I'm curious. Oh that is funny, Taz Mania Devil, apparently they liked Looney Tunes! Tidy Fishing boat would make a great jigsaw puzzle. WOW, the Meeting House looks so cool, can you imagine wear the dresses in those days and trying to get into the pew. I think they were facing each other to see if someone fell asleep. Gene didn't get stung by picking up the jellyfish? It looks weird, LOL. U R Having Too Much Fun :-)
Lightouses It’s so funny what some people see in pictures. I was taking shots of the landscape along the route. I noticed the boat and the little building, which I thought would provide a nice shot. You notice something on the bench and the Tasmanian Devil on the building. LOL. I had to go back and look at the photos to figure out what you were talking about. It looks like that is a lobster trap setting on that bench (having seen many of them on Wednesday). Thanks for the comments. Always enjoyable!
Clamming Interesting about the Ferry, wonder how many times they have to fix the cable.. I like the Clamming 04 picture, tho looks abandon with an a abandon tire in the picture; hope no one is trying to live in it. Wow! the rocks and boulders look big, it would be an interesting story how they got there if only the water could give it's secret :-) Question what are those 3 long looking finger things in the Clam pictures?
Clams, etc. Looks like you hit a mine field of clams!! Is that the norm?? It looks like you two are having a good time. Love reading your blogs! Later! ME
