beautiful Serene as usual! Just yesterday I saw an online post/video and the wild horses were running basically in a single line across a dirt road, then out into the pasture. So that is awesome that you witnessed it for real. Also, when I saw the bridges, it reminded me of my childhood. In CT my family lived in the valley near the state forest (small mountain) and there were some old bridges made of stone and we would walk through the tunnels as kids exploring. My focus was usually on catching pollywogs and frogs or if I was really lucky, salamanders. I loved that and you are inspiring me to get out and be with nature again. Thanks, Deb and Gene! Now go have more fun & continue to spread the joy!!!
Long Walk Beautiful County. Horses were actually roaming free? I didn't know that happened any more. Makes me miss the fields, mountains from home. Your very blessed to have such a wonderful adventure.
Long Walk Hey there! Actually, we are very close to the Exmoor National Park. People have land there for their livestock, and most are kept in a particular location by cattle grates. It is pretty cool. I actually really love it here. It is SO peaceful (except for the whack job of a landlord we have!). It's unfortunate we won't be staying. :-( But, more adventure on the way. :-)
Ghent Hi Debbie - now don't you wish you were back in Florida (not). Love the old buildings. You should buy a farm there and then invite us all ;-) Please doesn't look so crowded but I bet it is during tourist season.
Minehead Ok - did you have to add that "Life is Good" BRAT!!! Love the pictures. It's amazing to see the boats dry-land the tide really goes out. The walkway on the hill looks like it would have been fun to explore. Enjoy your wonderful blessing. Cyn
Great pictures This was very interesting to follow; a good presentation of the "Local" flavor of this city...the cathedral was special, although the seating was not what I would have expected; glad to see that you're enjoying yourselves...
photos Ok, I love all the photos as usual. But the ones that are my favorite would be the white horse and the rocky/pebble road. Of course, the last one with the crazy trees looks amazing too. At a loss for words, it just inspires me to get out and reconnect with nature as I did when I was a kid hiking through the CT state forest up behind my parent's home! Thanks, Debbie!!!
