31st October Trebe - Carcassone - Aurignac Mum and I got up this morning and went for a slow jog/sprint/bowling run down the side of a canal. Trees lined the path and we saw a white heron fly off the canal. It’s amazing in France because you can camp in Aires de service for free and they seem to be all beautiful. We drove 5 minutes into Carcassone. There are two cities within Carcassone - the old city, La Cite and the new. La Cite is on the top of a hill surrounded by walls and turrets. It has tiny cobbled streets and we could walk from one side to the other in 2 minutes. It also has a huge amount of tourists - we heard English, Italian, Spanish, German and French. Mason, Dad and I
