Escapee!
I'm so glad Danny was found (multiple times), he's clearly a free spirit and can't be contained. I love his eyes. Projects like CARE do such amazing work on such a tight budget - blessed with so much love from the organisers and volunteers.

A survivor
Danny is one tough boy, but couldn’t have made it without CARE. thanks for the comment!

Vinod
I had a lot of fun with him. The driver many times makes the difference between a good journey and a great journey. Thanks for your comment.

Creepy staring or curious staring?
For most of the time, I just couldn't tell the difference between these two kinds of stares in India :/ And I'd be flattered if they thought my skin was good enough to sell face cream :) Love those Malabar giant squirrels.

Stares
I have to assume that where ever I go in India, someone is staring at me, and it’s mostly out of curiosity. I quickly disarm them by smiling and saying something. Sometimes I can see relief washing over them. As for the face cream, I think that was wishful thinking on my part that they were using me as a testimonial. Thanks for commenting.

Journey in march
Hi Very interesting reading your adventure. You must be very brave going it alone. Did you have accommodation booked before you went? We are coming to Kerala on 13th march. Do you have any tips about best areas and accommodation? Love to hear from you Regards Carol Woodley

Kerala!
Thanks for your comment. I don’t think you can go wrong visiting Kerala. I’d recommend researching some guide books and deciding what kind of experience you want. You can go for nature watching or festivals or houseboats or beaches. I like to stay at least several days in each place. Have fun and you can visit more than once.

How lucky are you to spend so much time in India! What a wonderful way to really get to know a country. I'm envious.

Thanks Andrea! I feel very fortunate to be able to take my time. Magical things happen when I linger, it seems.
