The Journey Begins: Condoms, Nibbling Fish, and Rhinoceros Beetles

Starting in northern Thailand and following the mighty Mekong River through Laos and into Cambodia with a small organized tour. Then I’ll head off on my own in search of wonder and good food in Cambodia for about four weeks. I have been studying Khmer to help ease travel in this country—an action which will no doubt lead more to comedy than to profound understanding. Can’t wait to share my journey with armchair travelers, friends, and family!
