Sorry to miss you at Christmas - perhaps catch up at Easter. Glad to hear you are enjoying the Gambia - until NZ I went there every year for 8 years operating in the RVH in Banjul - usually stayed in the Atlantic (ok but not great) as that
was opposite the hospital and they gave us a special rate. Lyn came the last time I was there (3 weeks in 2008) for my last week and we stayed at Ngala Lodge which was great. Do you remember Abbas Khadra - he is from there and his family live directly opposite Ngala. He was my SHO for a while at StH. Try and get 'up country' and also the market at Banjul (but be prepared to be hassled and barter). Also trip up river on bird watching trip or 'Roots' trip (a bit contrived ) are interesting). Some good Lebanese restaurants as well. take care and enjoy. Chris & Lyn xxx

The icons look very similar to the greek churches. ICXC is written by Jesus Head. Being the initials in greek for Jesus Christ. Wow, looks amazing!

It seems you are terribly nautical these days- 3 technical terms in 1 sentence! It's heaps hotter in peru but I'm tipping the wine is better in chile! Xxx
