Enjoying your blog Cheryl, speaking of Canadians, our RV neighbours here in Desert Hot Springs are joining up with a caravan of RVs leaving this Wednesday for Cabo San Lucas, so you'll see more Canadians soon. The Canadian travellers are transforming the southern US, every RV park here is mostly Canadians now, and many are very young- like 50's , newly retired and living the good life.
your neighbor Some how, that doesn't surprise me! I am glad not be around that any more! Had a great day yesterday...Rocky's birthday took him shopping for a new toy. Went to Crystal's to see Julianna for her birthday. Jaelynn and Chase (step grandson) were there too. We were meant to be home early. We had four amazing days of holidays, at home. Have made all of our favorite foods, my stomach is appreciating it. I didn't really how tired I was, can't seem to get enough sleep. (Ken too) I have enjoyed reading your adventures of the day, since we left. Keep having fun!
Best things about Cozumel We agree with all you say about Cozumel. Wishing we had spent our recent three nights in Mexico in Cozumel rather than Cancun.
Talkatone Cheryl, have you heard of this service called "Talkatone"?
It is a free phone service you make over wifi.I use it on my ipad to call Canada when we are down here.I am wondering if it would work from Cozumel.
Enjoying your blog! Just a note to tell you how much I am enjoying your blog. What a great idea for keeping everyone informed of your adventures. We\'ve never been to Cozumel, but have been RVing to Baja, and Mazatlan in years past.I can relate to your experiences with Mexican restaurants and grocery stores. sounds like you are having superb weather, we are in Mesa, Az, and have been experiencing a cold front lately,, 38F at night and about 60F during the day, but it is sunny so no complaints. It usually warms up here in late Jan and Feb.We head home around Mar 15. Continue to enjoy, and continue your writings!
Sunday is our favorite day Really enjoy your blogs and look forward to them every day.
We went to California for a couple of days; are back in Az now. Will email you our plans re Mexico.
Gerry & Betty
Merry Christmas I'm reading about your adventures, we are glad you guys are enjoying your little break from the real world. We were out at the lake last week, till Tues, and man is it snowing there. As you can see, the house is almost finished, and we spent a few nights there. We'll go back the end of Feb or March and get everything all the way done I hope. Have fun in the sun, have a very Merry Christmas, and we look forward to catching up with you in the New Year! Love & Kisses, Lloyd and Linda
Prawns! Ok, you can just bring some of those prawns home with you! Other than lobster, prawns are my favorite! sounds like you are having such a good time. good that you are getting out and about to see other things rather than just what most tourists see. Nothing like a tropical rain storm! been through a few of those in my earlier life. i don't do very well when the humidity gets too high, so know what you feel like when every little thing you do makes you feel like you need another shower.
not much new around here, fishing still not any good, so send more good vibes! no further snow, and the sun actually shone for a good part of the day, but the wind was nasty and the lake very rough (again). supposed to snow again tomorrow, but hope it isn't much as have to go to Trail. finished all my cookies and tarts today, so think i am all ready for christmas now. that is amazing as it isn't even the 20th yet! Really nice to read you blog's-enjoy them for sure.
Cheers, cath

Trip Sounds like your're having a pretty good time ! Weather's milder here now but damp ! Canada Post tells us that regular mail can take up to 17 days for out of town with the Xmas rush ! Hope Miranda and Gordo get their cards next week !
Lobsteria! Gerry & I are not familiar with the restaurant where you had the lobster - sounds like an excellent place.
You guys will be so fit and trim by end January with all the walking and swimming, etc! We have been walking every morning too, with the dog - go for about an hour down the wash. Today is nicer day than yesterday - still quite cool though. probably 60 F or less. Have been looking at flight costs and dates on computer to come to Mexico in Jan. sometime.
Nothing much new with us.....so until your next blog.....G&B
Hello Reading your blog sounds like you are having a relaxing trip and enjoying Mexico. Loved the picture of the jolly red tomato man.... would have loved to slap that sunburn :)~ Drink lots of water and use lots of sunscreen.
take care
Carol
Snow! Hi there, sure sounds like you are having a good time. time going pretty fast though isn't it, can't believe you have been gone that long already. snowed a little last night-actually swept the dock off this morning though it would probably have melted anyway though only 1 degree right now. fishing still a hard slog. one of the ladies at the gill and gift told us that at langs there is a mass of rainbows all around the pilings there. she said her husband tried to catch some, but they would not bite anything he tried. we didn't go to look as it was getting late already when we got in this afternoon. snowing pretty hard at the moment, looks like it might mean it this time. hope you continue to be well and have fun. cheers, cath

How nice is that! Just looks like too much leisure to me. I'm sure you will be bored in no time-ha! ha! very nasty wind early this morning, many branches down all over the place, but the sky is mostly clear today so far. very rough out on the lake yesterday with 4-5 ft waves and miserable wind and rain, but caught a 16 lb rainbow and lost a bigger on behind the boat. Keep having fun and think of us all in the cold here!
Enjoyed your blog! We were happy to hear that you like the Mayaluum - we were very comfortable there and Cecelia is a great owner/landlord.
We have been exploring today ourselves - just got home for some coffee and a nap???? ! It is very quiet here too.
We live in beautiful Balfour, British Columbia, Canada. A tiny, friendly town surrounded by mountains. We're lucky to call it home, it's one of the nicest places in the world. We love to get away in the winter, visit family and new places. If you follow us on this blog, it'll be like you're there with us! We hope you enjoy!... full info
