We wake up to a beautiful sunny morning, eat some fruit, poached eggs and toast for breakfast. We soak up some sun lounging around the pool for a while before Ian and John walk down to the dive shop to pick up another snorkel mask.

On the way back, Ian stops by the massage place next door and makes arrangements for Amabel, the masseur, to come by our condo and give us each a 40 minute massage. She is very professional and shows up with her massage table and supplies. We really like her pleasant and happy demeanor, she tells us that she loves her job. She also really knows what she's doing, we all agree it is the best massage we've ever had in our lives. We think we might want to do this one more time next week.

After the rub downs, we are all very relaxed and head over to the Baracruda so Ian and John can do some snorkeling. Our neighbor, Scotty Ocean, is already there with his Mexican girlfriend of the day. After a brief snorkel and shower, we head back to the condo to get ready for sunset. We've seen some pretty amazing sunsets, but today is spectacular. The sun is large and colorful, there's a line of cloud making an amazing pattern as it settles into the water.

Since we have eaten all the groceries in our fridge, we need to figure out where to go for dinner. We had tacos for lunch with our leftovers, so we agree on Italian. The first place we try is closed, so we settle on Fratelli's in downtown San Miguel. It's quaint. I'm glad its dark, I have a feeling this place wouldn't look that great in the daylight. We are served a puffy garlic bread which seemed like a warmed up pita with oil and balsamic. We share a small hawaiian pizza and cesar salad to start, both are really good. Then Ian has chicken with tomato sauce and veg, John has spaghetti and I have fettucini alfredo with shrimp. Mine is too creamy and rich, I eat less than half which is still enough to make me very full. Ian and John enjoy their dinners more than me. Overall, it was good and very reasonably priced.

On the walk back, we spot a little Mexican birthday party going on with kids trying to break a pinyata - so cute. Everyone is laughing and happy, a theme we encounter with mostly everyone here.

What a wonderful day in Cozumel, beautiful weather, good food, relaxing massage - what more could we want?

your neighbor
Some how, that doesn't surprise me! I am glad not be around that any more! Had a great day yesterday...Rocky's birthday took him shopping for a new toy. Went to Crystal's to see Julianna for her birthday. Jaelynn and Chase (step grandson) were there too. We were meant to be home early. We had four amazing days of holidays, at home. Have made all of our favorite foods, my stomach is appreciating it. I didn't really how tired I was, can't seem to get enough sleep. (Ken too) I have enjoyed reading your adventures of the day, since we left. Keep having fun!
