Laughing out loud! Do so enjoy your all your stories, but Ian and the shorts certainly made us laugh out loud with tears streaming down my face! Could just picture it happening. Trying hard to imagine getting Eugene in my bathing suit bottom! LOL!! Sure are glad that you have had such an enjoyable and relaxing time there-just what you needed and deserved! Heaven knows that you both work hard enough at home. Guess you will be heading to Florida soon, hope you have a good trip there and enjoy Disney world!
Christmas eve on ranguana island Always an adventure with you guys! It was fun imagining Ian getting in touch with his feminine side while hoping no one else would notice! Don't worry Ian, you are still The Man. You always keep us entertained Cheryl with your writing. Gerry and I are living separate lives this week, he at his family and I at mine
Nothing Like a Hot Shower Hi Ian & Cheryl. I read your blog to.Gerry out loud this am and he just about fell off his chair laughing. You guys do seem to have the worst luck when it comes to washing machines , dryers , coffee makers and microwaves in Mexico. And I could almost feel that heavenly hot water shower myself Cheryl.
Sense of Belize Ms. Graham,
Thank you for being so specific in your descriptions of Belize. You really give a sense of the place, both the "good" and the "bad." I think that your rule of not complaining is a good one, though difficult to do when traveling, especially when one is used to certain luxuries like hot showers : )
Best,
Monique
to eat or not eat really enjoy your blogs Cheryl, keep them coming. don't get to them every day, but read every one when I get to them. Don't think
that I could eat rat, not that adventuresome when it comes to foreign food, but sure would be into the chocolate!! Love the adventure with the snapper-glad it tasted good after all that effort! Still no snow here, and still warm, +1.5 here today but mostly cloudy with a few ice bits falling from the sky this morning, but some blue sky this afternoon for a few minutes. finally have a Christmas tree up, but not decorated yet, and all my baking done except for butter tarts. Heidi comes for a biscuit any time that she is home and she looks good.
Gibnut Yes I agree it's like eating cat, it's what you associate in your mind, if someone served it to you and said it was pork or beef you might eat it and not mind it at all, but then you think of rats crawling around dumps and in sewers, the flesh might be riddled with very bad bacteria. A fisheries biologist once told me he would never eat fish, having seen what is in their flesh under a microscope, get Ian to try it, he seems to have the guts for this type of thing
A Drive To Punta As I read I was getting concerned for your safety, whAt with no traffic, jungle and men with machetes . We are really enjoying your blogs Cheryl. Saw Heidi and John a few days ago, Heidi came right in and headed for the 'sausage' cupboard! Keep safe! G & B

Happy for you! So glad that you made it safe and sound despite the plane ride-I hate flying for just that reason! bet you feel much better with a day under your belt to catch up on some rest and get in a little relaxation! Snowed here overnight but much warmer, melting now but very cloudy/foggy. Hope you have a great day!
Getting to belize Sounds like the trip from hell! Glad you arrived (finally) and looking forward to your blogs about Belize. Hope the country makes up for the uncomfortable plane rides to get there. No snow here, temp around minus 5.
6 pack and Cozumel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi,just got back from Cozumel!Dec.16th to March 15th.It was one of the warmest winters on record in Cozumel. The sea was at least 5 degrees warmer than last year.Saw all the people from last year.Except you know who, lmao.Looks like you had a great time o the West coast.S.O.
End of holiday Bet you are sorry to see it end, ours has just started, we arrived here in Neuvo Vallarta this pm. I think that we will enjoy it. We get home on the 28th,hope spring has sprung.Ian I've been thinking, believe it or not, that if you want to try a cheaper repair on white truck,we should try repairing the fuel pump, possibly injectors are ok,(because of suddenness of the onset of problems and the oil dilution).if you are interested,i will research costs etc..I'm thinking that maybe I've gotten hung up on injectors because of the year and duramax history. All of the problems can be explained by a faulty fuel pump. Any way , something to think about. Do NOT drive until oil is changed!
Thank you Cheryl I just sent your latest blog edition to our friends who are rving in that area somewhere. You travelogue is so informative, no tourist bureau could beat it. Thanks again, and have enjoyed your writing.
Always enjoy your blog Cheryl. Hard to believe your vacation half over already. I am just trying to motivate myself to pack-usually leave it to last minute and then am stressed for days until I finally do it.
Really icy here but weather is nice and very little snow. Josh was here yesterday and had Heide with him but she got hipped as we were out of sausage. Enjoy the sun and sand! Xo G & B. We watching curling
