Day 3 - we walked south to the international cruise ship terminal in the morning. There is a small business area to greet tourists, mostly the same stuff you see everywhere in Mexico although a little more expensive. Shops along the way have sales people out front to lure you in which is a standard practice here in Mexico, we can't blame them trying to earn a living.

In the afternoon, we walked again to downtown about half an hour. People here take a Siesta (afternoon nap) from 1 - 5 pm, so some stores are closed, no wonder they can stay up late to party!

The kitchen in our condo is not very well equipped, we needed a decent fry pan, knife, bbq supplies (yes, they still use briquettes here,) so we checked out another store but again ended up at the Super Mega. We stopped in at a little taco stand for a quick bite which was very good, Rock and Java.

Day 4 - we did a bit of work on the computer, then again walked downtown, we didn't buy anything but the walk seems easier now. We stopped in at Stingray Beach, a small fenced off under water area where they have stingrays for tourists to have close encounters with - seemed mean to us. A little futher along, there is a dolphin encounter area - same thing. We don't see giving any of our money to either of these tourist adventures.

The afternoon was our first time to sit at the pool and relax. Weather every day so far has been around 28 c, sunny and cloudy with a strong breeze. As we are still aclaimating to the warm weather, the breeze has been saving us as we are sweating like crazy while walking around.

We tried the bbq for the first time, Ian severely overcooked our burgers but still edible. We are learning the ropes of the place.

How nice is that!
Just looks like too much leisure to me. I'm sure you will be bored in no time-ha! ha! very nasty wind early this morning, many branches down all over the place, but the sky is mostly clear today so far. very rough out on the lake yesterday with 4-5 ft waves and miserable wind and rain, but caught a 16 lb rainbow and lost a bigger on behind the boat. Keep having fun and think of us all in the cold here!
