USA Pro Challenge 2012

a trip by Pam de Jong
From: August 18th 2012
Until: August 26th 2012

For the 2nd year, some of the best cyclists in the world cam to our beautiful state to race. And it would be rude of us to ignore their efforts, wouldn't it?

So once again, we took the week off work, and followed the USA Pro Challenge around Colorado.

As I was explaining to someone that week, this isn't the Super Bowl (for lack of a better analogy), but it's the Pro Bowl, if you will. Lots of the top names in cycling (including the 201 Tour de France winner, Cadel Evans) are here, as well as many top teams from the "minor leagues". It was a great race, beautiful scenery and a great getaway.

And yes, we're planning on doing this again in 2013.... 😊
