(by Becky) Sitting just inside the magical path on a rainy Ireland day, I met a bird. He was a small bird with a flaming orange chest and inquisitive eyes. He stayed with me about 10 minutes, hopping around me as if looking at me from all angles. Jumping on branches just eye level, cocking his head from side to side, examining me. I was mesmerized by him, his willingness to get so close to me and that I was able to move around and not scare him. Sadly a car came down the road and disturbed our communion and he was gone. Fly away birdie, but I will never forget you.... read more

(by Becky) One of my desires in being in Ireland was to connect with the Faye Folks, the Fairy Realm. This happened in abundance one moment when we found the most enchanting & magical place I have ever seen, in Glengarriff, Ireland. It appeared off the main path on the way to the Ferry headed over to Garnish Island, we never made it any farther. We were completely captivated. You could only see a short distance up the path which seemed to call for your entrance. Once around the first bend the rest of it revealed itself, completely locked in with branches overhead & just enough room to walk. The girls were snapping pictures & exploring while I sat on a rock wall just at the entrance. In that moment, I began rocking and humming ... read more

Castletownbere was a destination point for another significant spiritual connection for us and my knowing of this, prior to our arrival, was helpful in our preparations. We had been guided originally to a hostel, which when we stayed there, we discovered it was not the one. Later we would find out a 2nd hostel was nearby although it had now been converted to a educational center. Becky and Terrie went to check it out. When they returned Becky confirmed that this was our location. We had moved to a B&B which, as it turned out, was only 1 1/2 blocks away from the site. We went to the hostel and walked around to the back where we sensed the primary emmination of energy was coming from. There was no way to access from this side, ... read more

This ancient port-town had a feel of timelessness to me. Perhaps this is due in part to the location itself, as it felt less trod upon by tourists, ...or perhaps it was the unyielding historical influence of the place that gave it that feel. The ancestral surnames of O'Sullivan and Harrington still remain, embedded by the passing of countless generations. As we explored this picturesque sea-side village, we were guided to an olde church-yard in the heart of the town. It seemed inviting with it's lush vegetation, neon-green lawn, and sparkling faery flowers. The Olde locked gate around the church perimeter seemed a mere obstacle to the force of the "calling" within. 'Tis a wonder that a local businessman across the street offered us a key that we may enter the grounds at our leisure! ... read more

In preparation for departure to our next adventure, Lettie set out a map of Ireland and asked us to be guided to our next destination. I was guided to Castletown Bere which lies in the south western part of Ireland, Terrie had the same knowing which was confirmed by Lettie. So after leaving Kinsale we headed back to Cork and then found Harrington's, a small bus service. The bus driver drove like a "bat out of hell" and it was all I could do to keep my cookies down (in my case, chocolate). Thankfully there were energy workers on the bus (the girls) and shortly I felt better and in control. We met Carmel (She said "Carmel, with an L for LOVE). She was a 60's flower child & I quite liked her. We stayed ... read more

From Cork, Ireland we intuited our next destination to be Kinsale, which is a small village on the southern coast of Ireland. We took the bus per our intuitions as there was a large focus of energy that we were drawn to, this based on what our vision forces had revealed to us. In the months prior to this trip, we had united our intentions and purpose to serve a primary vision Spirit gave to us for the purpose of this Spiritual Sojourn. We agreed to this knowing that we would be guided to places where all of us could have our spiritual growth needs met. Kinsale was one of those places. The town alone was a delight to me. It was quaint, colorful, bright and cheerful. There were small shops, pubs and restaurants everywhere ... read more

(by Terrie) is the Gaelic word for rock, cliff, pillar or monument. From the onset, and meditatively, this Irish word in Itself held an energetic quality for me as we embarked upon this Sacred Journey. As we traversed the ancient land, everything present here seemed to have a voice; the trees held memories, the lands held imprints, even the winds seemed to whisper. My particular challenge as an open empathic intuitive is in discerning which "voice" is relevant or pertinent to our Spiritual work in any given moment. I find it quite easy to be seduced by the myriad frequencies beheld in this land of enchantment. There is an abundance of animate vibrations. Gratefully, I have two very good teachers in Lettie and Becky as they have helped me to laser my focus to that ... read more

(by Becky) This journey for me is about learning to serve life in all ways, anytime, anywhere & to be mindful & present in each moment. In cork, I was called to serve in a very unusual way. The place we were guided to was called Mount Conway. Housing developments covered the foot of this hill but pastureland/farms take up the middle to top portion of the hill. We found a private drive which looked to have stepped out of a fairytale (major photo op). We met the owner of the home who gave us permission to wander the property. As we explored, we learned about the land and the people who lived there long ago. We learned that an invading barbaric force that attacked those who lived on this land. The ways in which ... read more

The role that I play as "Visioner" for the group involves establishing connection with local "deities" or "consciousness of nature" to the degree that I am able to know where significant points of connection are, how to find them, and ultimately to make sure we arrive there fully prepared for the experience that awaits us even if I do not know exactly what that experience will look like. We have functioned this way since the beginning of our journey together. Although I am somewhat familiar with this mode of traveling, which the last 2 years of travel in the states have been preparing me for, Becky and Terrie are new to this and are now learning to moving through life entirely on intuition. This is very different from what they have known before - what ... read more

The Garnish House Between Ms. Lucey her husband Con, and their impeccable assistant Marcel we had the best time. (A word about Marcel, he was a really lovely young man whose personality and good looks made him the darling of Garnish House - and of us to!), Garnish house (having been named after Garnish Island near Castletownbere, Ireland; an island entirely covered with flowers) is one of our top favorite B&B's to date. I can't say enough about the beautiful displays of food, the huge quantities of it, and the tastiest of homemade scones and breads, full Irish breakfasts, fresh fruits and special ordered gourmet delights. The entire house and rooms were tastefully appointed. Our room included fresh fruit and flowers, and was quite comfortable. I had the best jacuzzi tub experience in our bath and ... read more
