Bull Dust!!
You're never going to get a rep as seasoned caravaners if you keep washing the rig!!

Red Dust
Wow! Your adventures are the makings of a new book "Guide to dirt roads and visitor information centres, for aspiring grey nomads." Brian has just bought a 4WD. Joan should I let him take it off the blacktop? From Mr Retiree and The Sheila

Bull dust
Are you sure all of the bull dust in the van is red?
14th October 2012

I'm having a very loud giggle, red dust .... It's insidious, wish you the joy of cleaning it all out, it may take years!!!! And you had the easy end of the tanami road....
14th October 2012

What a cool place. Your van has been annointed with Kimberley red dirt, properly blooded, eh?

the holiday
Still loving the blog don't leave off,as you may have seen on news snow yesterday very unusual for this time of year. I love walking in garden, things just booming. Glad I left off tomato planting until this weekend. Keep safe and enjoy. Love Glenda

Shakedown
Late comment I know, but it always takes some time to work the bugs out of a new van. just like in an IT Project. ;^)

Gosh
You are having an interesting time! Wallaby looks like a northern species - er, that makes sense. Did it have a funny pointy tail, nailtail?

Drama
This seems like the most drama you have had so far on this journey. Really happy it all worked out - question - does that mean no more note book plug in for the rest of the trip.

UFOs
Perhaps I should have mentioned that stop, we did too. They put new meaning into surly service so we just bathroom breaked and moved on. Not towing a caravan gave flexibility to our stop choices

Barrow Creek
Moral of the story.............. there are times one should use their en suite!!!!!!!!! This was one of those times. The moral of the story for the rest of us ........ keep trying to convince your husband to upgrade your van to one with an en suite!!!!!!!! One never knows when one will stop at Barrow Creek.....

Name that tail
You know that thing that hangs off the back of your car? I think you should give it a name... how about Bruce or Allawah indigenous word which means 'stay here, rest, sit down'; or Dulili wich means 'together'; I particularly like Karrawa 'that will do'
