A winter escape to Outback South Australia

It’s been a while, but finally we’re back. There has been much turmoil in the world since our last blog. It was only a couple of months after our East Coast trip that the areas we had travelled through and enjoyed so much were devastated by bushfire and then CoVid 19 hit. Suddenly everything changed. Thrown into the mix was a lucrative contract that lured Greg back into the workforce. As a result, our travels have been few and far between and only lasting a few days.

Still, we are plagued by instability and uncertainty. Just when everything was starting to look good, we decided it was time to get out and about. So, we went about planning a trip to outback South Australia, taking in Roxby Downs where we could finally visit our son and daughter-in-law again, and then across to the West Coast (of SA). This would have us away for the month of July.
