Red Flower Trees, Blue Flower Trees
Hi Lynne - the Red flowering trees are Poincianas (very similar to Jacarandas aren´t they?). By now you have probably seen the huge one in our yard. Grafton - famous for Jacarandas? They have a Jacaranda Festival and ´Miss Jacaranda´every year - very ´big country town´. Make sure you mention Sawtell to my Mum as that was a favourite holiday spot for she and Warren and my little brother (we were all grown up by then...). Glad you are enjoying our house. Jacarandas
Hola, We planted a jacaranda a few weeks ago as we have lots round here and as you say they are so beautiful, however it went a bit brown and some leaves fell off. So we uped the watering and it 's looking so much better, fingers crossed it was just the settling in period and should be fine. xxx

Hi
Getting really rather chilly over here now, although have had the odd few warmer days, so seeing you sitting out in short sleeves and shades in the pics makes me quite envious, still only 3 and a half weeks to our holiday so counting down to that now!! Ross is currently in Italy on his olive picking jaunt and is apparently getting good weather there, lots of wine, beer, pizza and pasta too. Will be in touch again soon, much love and safe travels xxx

loved that art
Wow that art in Sydney was absolutely mind blowing. I loved that woman made of big pieces of stone, but in general doesn't art outside look so wonderful? I remember those long drives in Australia with hardly another car for hours, fabulous. Glad all going well. Autumn here very beautiful with all the bright colurs and at the moment mild weather but it's due to change -so keep those gorgeous photos coming in! PS Thanks for email. Will look again and reply.x

Born to be wild
Hi Lynne. My favourite sculpture is 'watch out for the paint'. Would like that in my front garden. It's a dark night here in Chester le Street with the clocks going back. Had a lovely day at the dirt track with the lads - Connor on his 125cc bike and Flynn on his quad. As the Persil advert says - dirt is good. The washing maching is still going strong, it was so wet, cold and muddy. But lots of family fun. And now it's time for a glass of vino. Take care and enjoy your time with Jenny. Love Hils x

At last!!!
Well, at last I hear you sigh!!!! I seem to be over my wi-fi problems at home, at least for now, so taking this opportunity to catch up on all your blogs and write a quick reply. It seemed to take ages to catch up on them all but it certainly sounds like your having an absolutely brilliant time and, at times, I felt like I was right there with you, loving the pics too!! Sunny Eastbourne remains the same, although not particularly sunny anymore (not like some people) the house is all fine and the steady stream of guests all seem to be extremely friendly!! Glad you are having such a fantastic time, have my angiogram Tuesday so will let you know how I get on after that. Take care for now and be in touch again soon, much love xxx

SAD
Hi Lynne. Well I've decided, I suffer from SAD. What I would give for a bit of the sunshine you are enjoying. Not to mention the sights, the experiences and the scenery. Off work for a week so spending some quality time with the kids. Safe journey to Sydney and look forward to hearing more of your travels. Love and hugs, Hils x

Stunning photos as always, Lynne. Have a safe drive to Perth. I am off to UK next week--650kms to Dieppe, then about the same from New Forest up to Scotland. Will be a tad chillier than Oz , me thinks!!! Love reading your Blog and look forward to more updates. Lots of love, Pauline xxx

ALBANY
Can't resist responding to the blog.... you are a great tourist and traveler to have. Interested in everything and very observant. Lets face it you hven't missed a kangaroo yet... you may have missed the head of a snake though!! Such a pity you got the dead one. IN fct the dead one was the deadly one - a Tiger snake - not many second chances with them if you are bitten. So pleased that you have enjoyed Albany, we love it too. cb
