Bucket List Trip: United States and Canada

For a few years, I have been talking about driving to the Pacific Coast and taking the coastal highway from Victoria, B.C. to San Francisco, CA and now we are going to do it. We will be visiting a number of American states with our first stop in Chicago. From there we will travel to Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota, Montana and then drive north to Banff, ALTA. Continuing on to Victoria, B.C. and then down the coastal highway 101 to San Francisco. Our return journey will take us to Reno, Wyoming, Iowa, and then we will see.........We have many places to see and things to do and as usual, I have no set itinerary. We will stop when we want and stay as long as we can.
