Nullarbor
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip across The Nullarbor. Probably took us 3 days. One of the most interesting sights was a very small helicopter getting petrol at a service station. As far as we were concerned, it was wonderful scenery and wildlife.

Nullarbor Road House.
The first time we crossed the Nullarbor, a light plane was refuelling at the bowser up from us. Weird?? Only on the Nullarbor. This is our 4th crossing so we move it along these days.

Restoration jobs
There is a restoration hobby workshop right next to this display, and they seem quite skilled at getting old gear at least functional if not fully working. from a photographers point of view, the old cart evokes nostalgic reflections of days gone by.

Motorhome circumnavigation of Australia and the current trips sound great. I knew only from your mention of Murray river where Les Murray's second name came from. Great poet. I was in Australia in 2007, had a great time.

Glad you liked the pics. Not my pick of beaches unless you like breaking your neck. A little earlier in the year, this is a great whale watching coast. The Southern Wright whales give berth here over our winter. They can be seen from the cliff tops Mid May to Late August.

Glad you liked the pics. Not my pick of beaches unless you like breaking your neck. A little earlier in the year, this is a great whale watching coast. The Southern Wright whales give berth here over our winter. They can be seen from the cliff tops Mid May to Late August.

Trucks and bolders
Never seen trucks on trucks before. Never ceases to amaze me how boulders get to be placed strategically on top of massive rocks. I would have loved to see it happen. (From a distance of course). Love Jeanny

Marg and Rob purchased a Horizon Wattle (Mercedes Sprinter) motorhome built by Ballina Campers and planned to circumnavigate Australia over the following couple of years, collecting it just after Rob retired in May 2011. The couple of years grew out to over 4 years during which time we travelled from Brisbane to Perth return accross the Nullarbor both ways in 2011; in 2012 we travelled various places on the East Coast of Australia.
