Hello Everyone! Greetings from sunny Las Vegas! We are camping at the Main Street Casino RV Resort and it is actually just a parking lot with hook ups! It is a short walk to Fremont Street which is the old strip in Vegas. The Fremont Street Experience, as they call it, is very unique and everyone should probably see it once, although once may be too much! See some picks below for details, but I can tell you that apparently it is not illegal to be naked out in public in Las Vegas! It seems that you do have to wear pasties and some kind of a cover for your private parts down below, but everything else can be right out there. Yikes! We had a great meal at Joes Steakhouse inside Caesar's on Wednesday and ... read more

Good Morning! We are winding down and getting ready to leave California this week. It has been wonderful exploring different areas around San Diego. We really liked Temecula but found Fallbrook, just outside of Escondido, to be charming and scenic. Today we will explore the mountain communities around us and then take a ride to visit the babies in Carmel Valley. We will be off to Las Vegas on Wednesday. Glad to see that Buffalo is sunny today too! Not long till Spring! Love, Joyce and Marc... read more

Top of the Morning! We have landed the RV in Escondido and spent the night at Jen and Chris's in San Diego. Had fun at the Bay Club's St. Patrick's Day party last night and now we are enjoying the company of two tiny and adorable leprechauns! The weather is cool here in SoCal! And there has been rain each night but the days are sunny! We are happy and blessed to be here with family in this beautiful house enjoying the sunshine. Enjoy your green beer today! Good Morning Buffalo! (and all of you who aren't lucky enough to live there too!) Just a quick note to congratulate our own Cinderella team - The UB Bulls Basketball team who pulled off a huge upset to know off Arizona yesterday! Get ready to cheer them on again tomorrow when they face Kentucky! We will be at Jen's house in Carmel Valley to catch that game! Go Bulls!... read more

Hello Friend and Relatives! We miss you. We have been busy and negligent about keeping in touch. Since my last post we have traveled across Texas and New Mexico. We stayed at the Triangle T Guest Ranch in Dragoon, AZ. The write up and pictures on the web were really interesting and they talked about how so many celebrities had stayed there over the years. John Wayne, Gary Cooper, Dale Evans and Roy Rogers, and a host of others. We arrived on a nice sunny day to find only one other RV camping there. Of course, Marc was ecstatic! We camped beneath huge boulders and close to the horse stables. It was very interesting to say the least. After that we camped at a 55+ campground near Yuma, AZ. Yikes! So many rules and regulations! But ... read more

Howdy! We are still in Texas. My good friend Sue reminded me that I neglected to say that we spend a few days in Houston where we had the pleasure of having a fabulous lunch with my good friend of 50 + years, Sue and her wonderful husband Ken. That was a wonderful treat! Tonight we are the Fort Stockton RV Park in Fort Stockton, Texas. The park is wonderful and has a little cafe which opens for breakfast and dinner and the food was great! Tomorrow we will move on to El Paso! Have a great night!... read more

Hello Friends, Just checking in from San Antonio. We have been on the road since February 15. We drove right through the Ohio Valley and there was plenty of flooding there at that time so I cannot imagine how it is now since they are getting more rain. We have been here since Saturday and had the opportunity to go on a tour of the city and to spend time at the Riverwalk. It was wonderful and the weather cooperated. Today we begin the long ride west across Texas and Arizona. We will spend 5 days on the road and arrive in San Diego on Saturday. I can't wait to see Nolan and Nina again! Hope everyone is well and staying warm! Joyce and Marc... read more

Check another one off the bucket list!? On the 90 and only 2 hours or so left! It's been epic but we are also very glad to be home. The fall foliage along the route today was lovely! We were happy to be welcomed back to New York with the traditional sign but not so thrilled about the tolls! So many states do not charge tolls. We can't wait to see you all soon! Hello again! We are finally back in the EDT zone! At a beautiful KOA campsite outside of Dayton, Ohio! So close but still so far away! We are debating about making a long trip home tomorrow or spending one more night in the Alleghenies in Pennsylvania! Either way we have had a blast and don't regret one minute if this crazy adventure! Look forward to getting back to the 716! Marc and Joyce... read more

Hello from the Ozarks! Yesterday Marc caught a striped bass. We went to dinner with our friend Jake in Eureka Springs and he took us on a brief tour of The Crescent Hotel which is unbelievably unique and spooky. Several ghost tours were going on as we were there. Many thanks to Jake for his hospitality! Today we drove from Eureka Springs to Granite City, Illinois, just outside of St Louis. We drove through Blue Ete AR with a population of 38! What?! Later we drove right through the St Louis and got a great view of the Arch. Of course the highlight of my day was getting the Bills' play by play online and great commentary from my extended family! Go Bills! We have now been through 16 states and have passed through Arizona and ... read more
