Hello Manish, How good of you to comment on our blog. Norway is very special to us, for its remoteness and sparkling freshness. At 80+ I'm still not ready for that Zimmer frame! Do I suspect you are from India? We were there last year (see our blogs) and will return next January 2017 - such colour, modesty and friendliness. David - greyhairednomads

Scotland!
Hi We've just stumbled across your blog and it was great reading about your travels in Scotland as we're planning a 5 week tour of the UK in late April/May next year, in our motor home bertie. Not knowing anything about Scotland, it had given us lots of ideas. Thank you!

Bonnie Scotland
Hi Bob and Doris - or is it Brenda? We have a Burstner called Bertie too! May and June are great months for visiting Scotland - before the midges and mossies get a taste for humans! Don't try to take on too much. You have lots of motorhoming life ahead. We've been going to Scotland for years and have yet to see it all. It's the remote corners we're fascinated by, but there's lots of interest everywhere. We finally got to Glasgow last year! Love every day of your travels. David and Janice

Wonderful.
As a West Indian myself I appreciate this blog very much. I admire your style of writing and the way you have painted a picture of Tobago that makes it appealing to anyone interested in visiting. Being born on St. Lucia I am very familiar with most of our islands with the exception of Tobago so my appreciation for your blog is all the more satisfying. The Caribbean is truly a paradise of variety everywhere you turn. Thank you.

Tobago!
Hi Roger, Our experience of Tobago is painted a little with my usual rose-tited glasses, but it is delightful and a great tourist destination. Our visit to the islands was marred somewhat by frustratingly poor organisation on the part of our chosen travel organiser, leaving us with a less satisfying impression of Trinidad. We would do much of it differently another time. From a wildlife perspective it's probably much like St Lucia through it's went something years since I was last there, but my money is still on Costa Rica, just across the water - where our wildlife hearts were blasted to bits! Lovely to hear from you again. Keep Smiling, as my ex Travelblog little brother always says. David

When Paradise is truly that
Feels like the sun, the sand, the breeze, the birds, the people, the vibe, the thrill of being there...has brought you to magnificent content. Beautiful blog of an island that sounds like Paradise.

I think I need to go to Tobago
Lovely blog - thank you - this island sounds so very much like somewhere I would love to be. Added to the list!

I need to go to Tobago
Hi Cindy, Thanks for keeping an eye on us old nomads! With a wide range of Caribbean islands to choose from it's important to know what you want from your adventure. Tobago and Trinidad has grown up in recent years with its burgeoning economy, but much of the culture remains if you care to search for it. David

Memories of Tobaga
Hi David and Janice, Your blog from Tobago brought my memories flooding back. I was about 7 at the time and had been entered into a fancy dress competition. I wore a blazer and cricket cap and went as Dennis Compton. and brother Pete went as his twin brother Leslie. I remember carrying a small suitcase with the words: ' OFF TO TOBAGO' on a strip that ran diagonally from top to bottom corners. It was topical at the time. Dennis Compton had gone there to Tobago to recuperate. Twins posing as twins and we won. Happy days. Keep sending the pics and the travel stories. You probably know that it's been windy here.....................for three whole months. Can't believe Easter is around the corner. Easter is when the Hodgson's traditionally hold their first BBQ. Hmmm. Could be quiet this year. Keep smiling. John & Nyta

Memories of Tobago
Hi John and Nyta, Now I have a better idea where your natural flair and enterprise come from, John. Perhaps we sometimes underestimate those parental influences. Let's hope the sun shines on us all on Easter Monday and we can get the BBQ out, sup the odd glass of wine and reminisce! Best wishes, David

To bago or not to bago, that's out of the question!
Another great blog. Love the panoramas, particularly the one with the towels.

What a delightful blog!
I was especially taken in by your adjectives--languid, dreamy, tranquil, by the communion of races and religions and of course, by your encyclopedic knowledge of birds. Sounds like a true paradise and a proper place to linger.

Hello from Down Under
Especially love the hummingbirds! We think you need to do another blog from our part of the world!! XXX

One from down-under
Hello Wendy, How lovely to hear from you again after a long time. We think of you both often as we have many friends from your neck of the woods from the old Teacher Exchange days - and some more recent from our motor homing escapades. Sadly Oz was before internet and digital cameras, though it's not forgotten! LOL David and Janice

Birding
Always love to bird photography and appreciate your passion for the fine feathered friends. We've been to several Caribbean Islands but have not made it to these yet. Soon we hope.

Strictly for the Birds
Hi Dave and Merry-Jo, T&T is no longer in the dark ages of history, but it remains friendly and has a fascination for its tolerance, love of fun and pace of life, we, in this sad commercial world, would do well to embrace. Thanks for listening! David

As free as a bird
Beautifully written blog of a paradise of birds. Felt I was there...sweating, straining, craning and trying to catch a hummingbird in my lens. No mean feat. Great bird pics. Well done

Strictly for the Birds,
We get a few of our kicks from our feathered friends as our focus for travel, though we get so much more as a gift in the process. Travel gets us away from our nightmare hobby of golf and my lifelong passion for gardening and DIY, and embalms us in the many other pastimes we both share; photography, writing, art and culture. Long may it continue! Best wishes and enjoying your jaunts in the USA, one of our most fondly remembered journeys - 17 months in a motorhome circumnavigating the 40,000 miles of North America's coastline in 2006/7. Very envious. Lots of it, David and Janice memories
