Betty Tribute Trip Fall 2009

In 2008 Betty and Dennis took a 7700 mile trip aptly named Betty's Farewell Tour and is the anchor for subsequent trips. This is the Betty Tribute Trip Fall 2009.
If you read the epilogue, you will see cancer won another battle. One of the promises I made was to visit Betty's favorite vacation spots, photograph and record them in memory of her.
The initial plan was a 6 week to 2 month trip during September/October of 2009, however the likelihood of foul weather, cold temperatures, and unpredictable road conditions forced me to rethink the venture. What evolved was a plan for a fall 2009 trip through the southwest and a late spring 2010 trip to Canada and the northwestern US.
This blog Betty's Tribute Trip will track the Fall 2009 portion and will begin after Labor Day in September and end late September or early October. Please join me and KC (white poodle) on this excursion and I promise top notch photos, a commentary laced with humor and heart, and some original writings from a book Betty and I wrote to and for each other titled "Two Voices".
