Hi everyone! Well I'm proud to say that we, not only survived a ten hour train ride to get to Goa, but we've finally made it to a new state in India. We specifically came to this part of Goa to meet my aunt and uncle from Toronto, who are traveling in India as well. Tomorrow, we are suposed to meet them for a boat ride to see the wild dolphins. Yes, like always, there is a beach where we are staying in Goa. And yes it is quite fantastic! We're going to rent a motorcycle either today or tomorrow, and like always, swim for the rest of the day. Samir's article. We're in Goa now, which is a completely new state. We're at a hotel which isn't too far from the beach. The beach crowdedness is some where in between Varkala and Kannur, but the other beach is really crowded, so we stuck with the closer beach. The waves here are semi big so we rented two boogie boards. That was something new, which is good because I am literally sick of the beach. Tomorrow we're renting a motorcycle and an electric scooter, but since my dad is the only one who knows how to drive anything like that, we kids have to stay in the hotel while he teaches my mom how to drive the scooter. Apologies for the slight delay in writing about our time in Goa. In fact, I have to admit that I'm not even in Goa anymore, having arrived in Bombay very early this morning on an overnight train. After all the bad stories I heard from other travellers, I was expecting a city resembling hell as described in Dante's Inferno. So far I like Bombay though! However, I'll write later about our adventures and possible mishaps here.
