Hey, just to share a bit of nerves with you all. I cannot stop rearranging the luggage and removing things. I will end up with nothing I guess. Ben has done his bag once and that was it. I am still trying to share the weight of the guidebooks though. Our essentials are Imodium and hand gel, and chocolate. Anyway, since the end of March we have been saying goodbye to our friends and family. We are now looking forward to sharing this experience with you all in here and when we come back. Hello Everyone, I just got off Skype with Amanda Jo and started to think about what I have scene so far in the past 3 months. Some of the things I have seen have been repeats, but I think they are still worth mentioning. You see, sometimes I get a little depressed because I work 45 hours a week, and when I finally get a weekend where I can go do something, I tend to want to relax. So let's take stock of what I have done or seen so far. So this will be the first & only entry until I leave...3 weeks from yesterday I will be flying out to Lusaka, before heading to Katete. At the moment, I am carrying out last minute preparations. Most of the big stuff is taken care of; but there always seems to be something else to tick off the list! Soon after watching Arsenals dazzling displays I was offered tickets by my mate Pecky to watch England v Switzerland. I leapt at the opportunity, well more like said yes and he said ok I'll get you a ticket. I don't leap at opportunities ever since I pulled a muscle. Anyway I was looking forward to the match as it was Fabio Cappello's first game in charge as the new gaffer (pommy slang for coach) and if David Beckham played it would be his 100th international cap. Sadly Cappello thought Beckham was rusty, his golden balls must have taken on a copper-bronze hue. The train on the way to the game was cozy (or bloody packed to the layperson).
