JarrodThis was one of my co-workers, working hard. He left two weeks ago to go back to Aussie-town
Hello Everyone,
I just got off Skype with Amanda Jo and started to think about what I have scene so far in the past 3 months. Some of the things I have seen have been repeats, but I think they are still worth mentioning. You see, sometimes I get a little depressed because I work 45 hours a week, and when I finally get a weekend where I can go do something, I tend to want to relax. So let's take stock of what I have done or seen so far.
England
Westminster Abbey
Tower of London
Saint Paul's Cathedral
Museum of London
British Museum
"The Boat Race' (Cambridge vs. Oxford crew race on the Thames)
Wembley Stadium (England vs. USA Friendly)
Hampton Court
Dorset
Borough Market
Spitlefields Market
'31 steps'
'Wicked'
'Lord of the Rings'
'Avenue Q'
Italy
Naples
Sorrento
Mount Vesuvius
Pompei
Florence
"The David"
"The Duomo"
I know I am leaving a few things out there, but still I feel better knowing I have accomplished so much in so little time. Some recent events include my trip with my roommates and our friend Evan to see the friendly match between USA and

England. We lost 2-0. We saw Beckham play, as well as Wayne Rooney and John Terry. It was really cool to see a field of English All-stars punish our team. Also, this past weekend I had no class so I went to Hampton Court on Sunday. Sunday was one of the nicest days we've had so far. Hampton Court was amazing. Its half the Tudor palace that Henry VIII lived in and half Baroque from William & Mary. The gardens were awesome. They have one of the oldest hedge mazes in the world which was a little disappointing as it wasn't that difficult. I have attached pictures from the game and the palace as well as a few others.
In other news, Andrew Bishop came to visit me last Sunday, and by visit, I mean having the grace to land in the country I currently call home. I have class this weekend, but the following weekend my roommates and I are going to Nice, France for 4 days. That following week I am meeting Ben Webster in Dublin, Ireland for a few days. And up to bat tomorrow night is a rare appearance by JEFF BOYKIN! My life is
Hazy Memoryost of the Londoners at the game were drunk. However there is no drinking during actual match time. Only before the start, during Half time, and after. I took this picture walking up the stairs to

All the best, and of course . . . Cheers!

In England we also went to Brighton and saw the Royal Pavilion, Maugherman's Deli (with Tim and Barry), and the English Channel. In London, don't forget we also went to the 10 bells and The George, and of course .. Harrods ;o)
And in Italy you also saw Pisa, the leaning Tower of Pisa, Church of Santa Maria Novella, Brunelleschi's Dome and Giotto's Bell Tower which is in the Santa Maria del Fiore church, Piazza dei Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Michelangelo's "Gates of Paradise" on the Baptistery, the Church of Orsanmichele facade, The Loggia and the statues by Cellini in it, and of course my old home, Vicolo Dei Cerchi. Just wanted you to be able to add to the list of places you've seen. If I don't write it down somewhere I'll forget too lol. Love you and miss you so much!

Best,
I love reading your comments on life and I'm so happy that you are doing well. I miss seeing you and laughing with you. How long will you be in London? I've been thinking about coming out over T-giving break because I've heard that the tickets are real cheap during that time. Will you be around? Anyway, keep the updates flowing and know that I'm sending lots of positive thoughts your way.
