What! What! Wake up, its 7:30; uhaaaa! Ok! Ok! Give me a minute. Ok, What is there a problem, yea! We need to get on the road, why! You said last night, we are on the down side of the hill of our vacation. Yes, that is correct. Well we need to get to Zurich to check in. But, our flight isn’t till Saturday, Oh that’s right. Ok, you can rest another 30, minutes. Thanks!
Breakfast was good considering the wake-up call I received. Kirsten keeps apologizing for waking me up early.
STOP! I want everyone to know today is my brothers birthday. His name is Clayborn, he is named after my Uncle Buster. Happy Birthday Clayborn; love ya and thinking of you along with the years we grew up together. Look forward to seeing you soon.
Ok, back to the trip.
After breakfast we head down to the lake and take a few pictures. It’s hard to get a smile out of anyone because we are heading home and were thinking about undone business. Darden; the houses; and going back to work. Yea, we miss everyone but we’ve had a great time.
Get
in the car Bea, Do I have to, YES!
We are now in the car, man was that an effort. It’s not like she’s never coming back.
We wind around the lake, taking pictures after picture. Then the enviable is in front of us.
MANY BIG MOUNTAINS!!!!! The ALPS!!!! OH YEA!!!!
We have to either go over, under or around. Kirsten asks; honey what would you like, OVER!!! It’s always s better on top. Bea just rolls her eyes, and we head toward to the Saint Gotthard pass. Woo Hoo!
This is even more special to me because this t is he first pass Kirsten and I crossed together many years earlier.
We wind around and around, back and forth, up and down. Finally we end up in a town of Andermatt. At the top of the Alps; This is the area where William Tell shot the apple off of his son’s head. Yea!
We pull up to the first Zimmer (Bed & Breakfast), this is the one Kirsten and I stayed at. I’m in and cone out, it’s ok and the price
is good. Kirsten immediately, says NO!
We then wind through the village; there is maybe 5 places to stay. At the most ok; we stop at the second the same result. I go into the third Zimmer; I come out with my thumbs up! It’s the same price, however it has a bathtub. Kirsten and Bea love it, remember tell management what they want to hear. Thrust me!
Ok, were in the room, it has WIFI, pronounced WEFE, for those ever thinking about traveling abroad.
Kirsten and Bea want to browse the village. Ok, Let me be very clear here, this village is shorter than Darden’s building. I’m not kidding, Kirsten will deny it, but I’m right. I know what your thing and it’s wrong.
We pick a restaurant, it was easy there is only 3, and were staying at one.
The meal is great and we sit around discussing the last two weeks. It’s been fun, ok time to check in, tomorrow gets harder. The project, I mean the vacation is coming to an end.
Good night!
