Well, the dream cruise is done. Will cover it in one entry. We went to Haiti, Jamacia and Mexico. We didn't spend a lot of time together as a family on the ship - we all made the most of space and went our seperate ways a lot of the time. I read and layed by the pool as did Greg a lot of the time. The kids went to the kids area and made friends with new travellers. We saw some amazing shows. There was so much to do but we spent a lot of time doing nothing. we didn't even really eat together very much - the kids roamed eating pizza, donuts and ice cream. We tried a lot of different eating options and a lot of different bars! Including the bar - rising tide - a bar that is a huge open elevator in the middle of the ship. We loved the balcony - it was a space we used a lot and had room service and drinks on.

Not surprisingly it was HOT, HOT, HOT. The ship was well airconditioned. We spent our time trying to find shade near the pool - so many pools to choose from. The bar staff were great, Americans don't use measures of any type when they mix a cocktail, Eve was the best, her Long beach iced teas were amazing - two was enough for the whole day. Greg tried a lot of different beers, quite a few buds, the new thing here is beers in aluminium bottles - just a new marketing gimmick.

The ports were a big let down but we survived - the heat made all ports just a bit of a blur. The highlight for us all was the Mantee encounter in Mexico - the free time swimming with them and feeding them for a bout 20 minutes was AMAZING!!!!!! Photos were ridiculously expensive - but i doubt I'll do it again so of course we bought them, no personal cameras allowed. Snorkelling in Mexico was also amazing. Jamacia was an experience in many many ways, Kasey's hair braiding was her favourite thing.

On board the food options were huge, formal eating, buffet, mexican, pizza, donuts, icecream, deli (the famous roast beef rolls), cafes etc - all included. On top of that there were about 5 other places to eat with an extra cover charge but we never got around to trying them. There were a lot of things we never got around to, just so many chioces. I think more than anything I feel overwhelmed here in the USA - so many options and choices - to many for my small brain.
