Good morning everybody
I am going to get married at the end of November 2008, and I am think to go for the honeymoon to Vietnam. I would like to spend one week sightseeing, and some days on the beach, nice and warm.
Can somebody recomend me places to go, and if the weather conditions are good in december.
thank you in advance

Hi,

Congratulations!
Best weather to go in the South...can be tricky...meaning cold and wet in the north!
What is your budget per night for the beach (speaking of hotels). Sorry to write this, but you've got good deals...at every level of price!
For the beach, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang and Phan Thiet are safe bets.

If you are ready to jump on planes, 1 weeks is short for sightseeing. You may arrive in Hanoi, stay there one night and than do a day trip to Halong bay...where weather can be from sunny 22 degrees...to damp 10 degrees...and than fly down to Saion, one day, 2 days Mekong delat...and than finish by the beach. But first question, what is your budget.

Have fun!

Thailand is great also, as is Malaysia, Bali, and all the region. Send me a small message with your per-night budget, and I'll tell you what to do. If you read my blog, you'll understand I like nice places, and I know tht for every budget, there is a dream place...the question is to know what you can achieve....and than go for the best. Peter....end December South Vietnam is great....and cheaper than Thailand...the baht is bloody high, which means Thailand is not that cheap anymore... Reply to this

Wouldn't go to the Sheraton on a honeymoon...and I'm platinium with Starwood...have a look on Phi Phi for the Zeavola. You can find another nice pics on www.slh.com. You may also want to consider onr or two options on Kho Lanta, the Pimalai, or there is one...but can't remember the exact name, I think it's Costa Lanta...it's quite easy, it has Lanta in his name, and it's design type bungalows...this one is in the cheaper bracket....I'll come back to you on that one.Peter Reply to this

I don't think there is not much of the romance side in the place...kind of place where I would enjoy going with my son...but for a honeymoon, I'd rather chose a place with few rooms, a true adult place...well, that's my opinion. Reply to this
