I am going to be travelling in South America from around april and was considering doing some volunteer work to kick it off. I have come across this company (www.globalcrossroad.com) who are offering free spanish lessons with thier volunteer placements.
A family friend said she had never heard of them before (she has done volunteer work on a few occasions) and this made me hesitate before booking.
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this organisation in south america or elsewhere? Or if anybody could recommend an organisation in south america (preferably based in Ecuador as this is where I plan to start my travels) that offers any orphange volunteer work.
