2008 is nearly here - this is a list of some of the most inspiring travel blogs of 2007 - I know there are so many, so many adventures, so many stories that should be shared; I hope we are able to make this into a really stimulating and inspiring topic;

For me the most heartbreaking and inspiring blog has been - Ben Craigen - myworldplayground - Living the Dream

My boyfriend and I are planning a RTW trip starting sept 08. We weren't very keen on flying so we were thinking of going overland...but we found

Banchory to the Bosphorous by Bike - Erika Bird and Robin Searle

and we decide to follow their steps and go by bike. I like their blog very much because they talk about how hard yet rewarding traveling by bike is...

Although this particular blog isn't technically 2007, it's a great summary of a 2007 trip. It makes the African continent seem a lot less daunting, and says a lot about how travel contributes to greater understanding of the world beyond our own borders. I've enjoyed reading all of Tom's entries.

My vote goes to PostcardJunkie - it is his thoughtful and charming (not to mention very, very funny) writing which is inspirational rather than subject matter, but his diaries from the Middle East changed my perception of the area entirely.

One of the best blogs I've read is from Edgar B Eddie B. He leaves his audience wanting more. Hands down my favorite.

I vote for explorerkeith. He writes about places I'll never get to (Antarctica, Falkland Islands, etc) in great depth so that I feel almost like I've been there myself. Great pics too.
