I am looking to join an Adventure Tour company to lead trips to start my overseas travel....I would like to get in touch with other people who have done this work in the past or know somebody who has to answer some questions.

Currently I am researching companies to work for, if anyone has any sugesstions (a company they worked for or have travelled with) I would appreciate any help.

Look forward to hearing from you,

I don't know if I would start my overseas travel by leading a group on an adventure trip. That is a little like the blind leading the blind. If you are truly interested in begining some overseas travel then you should just jump in and do it yourself, it would be a big mistake to jump in and have others tied to you. That is not fair to them or to yourself.
Also you should define adventure a little more clearly, do you have a specific skill or knowledge that would be applicable to a particular type of adventure? i.e. do you scuba, mountain climb, are an expert survivalist, speak multiple languages? If this is the case than you might have some place to start, but I don't think that I would hire an adventure tour company that would place me in the hands of someone who has never been overseas before.
I have been on many overseas adventures, and I have to tell you, barely getting yourself out of a jam can be hard enough, even when you know what you are doing.
That being said there are many companies out there that bill themselves as adventure tour companies: Trek America, Adventure Life, etc. Just google and you will find many out there. I have used some of these services once I am in country and they have their use. But a pre-packaged "adventure tour" seems only one step away from being on the couch.
Good luck, but why not try getting your feet wet first?
