Ok, so when I first started to plan this trip I heard everyone say they were going with ACE insurance. But then I realized you have to be British to go with them. So I am asking this to see what my fellow american travellors have gone with. The only one I see is STA, which is good, but really really expensive. So if anyone else knows anyother insurance companies that are cheaper than please share. Thank You.

Reply to this Yea World Nomads looks really good and I think I might just go with it. I just have to see what my doctor advices cause Im pretty sure im gonna need a plan that covers pre-excisting conditions.
Reply to this Hey traveling turtle ACE are a global insurer and they do have offices in the US, sad but true but i work in insurance so i know dull facts like this...lol

Reply to this Turtle you got me there, it appears ACE INA(USA division of ACE) only underwriters selected travel policy's and only sells business travel policy's, unlike ACE Europe who sell direct.........seems odd, but thats they way they seem to do it?, sorry i couldn't help, but to be honest i think Nomads is the best policy from all the reviews i have heard.
