Have you worked out a budget? you've picked some expensive places!
But with a round the world ticket you can visit the cheap areas for a long time and still make a flying visit to the most expensive cities on the planet 😊

There are dangers when travelling; the biggest one is blowing your budget and having to go home early 😉
Don't worry about going by yourself - you will make friends very easily in the hostels. Do take care of your belongings and watch out for street scams... I think I'll start a seperate thread on that to list some. I'll post again here;
£900 is a good deal on an RTW. But you have a lot of time before going to look around for more quotes.
How much do you think you'll have saved - this is the thing that I'd worry about looking at your plan - your going to some very expensive places - do you plan on working in Australia?
Consider a stop in south east asia - Bangkok - and travel around the region for some time, it is much cheaper to travel there than any of the places you have planned else where. Personally - I like not to worry about the money when I'm travelling - for me that mean very quick visits to expensive cities and long drawn out relaxing visits to cheaper places.
