Would love to get feedback from anyone regarding retiring in India (Goa/Kerala).
-Visa/permanent residence requirements
-Import of personal cars/motorcycle
-real estate costs
-monthly cost of living expenses
or anything else one can think of...
I am very familiar with the cultural aspects of India, incl. the food which I love.
This is a move out of my need to escape the rat race and find a more fullfilling lifestyle.
Reply to this Hi,
Goa is a great place to retire to food, living, transport cheap everyones friendly, only down fall is that you can only get a visa for 6 months but there are nearby countries where you can get visas from (Sri Lnaka, Thailand etc).
Visiting Kerela later this year for the first time, cant wait!!
Happy retirement!
Faye :~)
