hi! i'm joana from the Phillipines. I have suggestions since you are planning to visit our country. The best places that our country can offer you is our famous white sand beach resorts like in the island of Boracay!!! I have been to Banaue, Boracay, Palawan and Davao... :-) hey if you want I can recommend you a travel agency in Manila. You can check their website @ www.bridgestravel.com Travel consultant are very accommodating really! I used to get local or domstic packages in this agency! Good day!!! Reply to this

Hi there! I'm thrilled you plan to travel to the Philippines. It's true beauty is not in its city. Well, Metro Manila could be smaller than where you came from. Try to go to far-flung islands. Yes, we are famous for Boracay but it's a bit tourist-y. If you're the type who prefers a serene, relaxed, yet meaningful exprience, go Siargao and try surfing. You will surely meet a lot of backpackers there. While in Siargao, don't forget to go to Sohoton Cove. Not a lot of people go there because it's worth it. Go to Coron in Palawan. If you're a diver, go to Tubbataha... it's the best diving site in Asia! Feel free to browse through my travelblog entries about my country, Philippines. Enjoy!!! Reply to this

It would be good if you plan your travel in advance on where to go first on paradise philippines. If you prefer the beaches then make the central Philippines as your prime destination. You may hop from Island to Island as suggested by the others. You may go to Boracay, Cebu or Bohol. Then you can also visit Camiguin Island in Mindanao. The place is famous for its beaches, waterfalls, hotsprings and a sunken cemetery 😊. Don't forget the bountiful fruits that they have. Truly a place to visit for paradise philippines. You can go as far as Davao City and please disregard some areas in Mindanao you may check on travel advisory on places that is off to tourist. From Davao you can go back to Manila and start your way up north to Banaue or Sagada. Enjoy and have a great time! Reply to this
