Will airport security allow this? In cabin or hold baggage? It will look like a large silver bullet on the Xray and I'm not sure if the inside would be visible. I don't want to have to dismember my case at checkin! but don't need it on board. Cheers, Lady C Reply to this

At last I've found where to type! Had a marvellous hiking weekend in Deep Creek conservation park south of Adelaide- coastal views, STEEP trails, farm and forest, recommend to any bloggers visiting S. Australia. It is close to where you catch the ferry to Kangaroo Island, and the end of the Heysen Trail which winds 1500km north to the Flinders ranges. Up up and away on the BIG trip very soon.
