Andalusian Days Festival “Ayam Andalusia” is a multi cultural event festival, which will take place in the Moroccan city of Marrakech in March 2005 for 30 continuous days. Through this unique festival, guests and tourists from all over the world will have the opportunity to experience closely the Islamic Civilization in Andalusia which lasted more than 8 centuries. During this era, Arab and Islamic values were manifested at the social, economic, political, scientific, and educational levels. This also represents an era of fraternal association and positive effect of Islam on other faiths and cultures.
The Festival will highlight the role of the Islamic Civilization, especially the Andalusian Islamic Civilization that laid the foundations for various contemporary sciences. This festival will be launched through various associated events that are concerned with the dialogue among civilizations; putting the concept of dialogue among global cultures into action, and bringing out the real image of the Islamic Civilization and its contributions to the human history.
