Hey guys, I'm planning to visit Sweden soon. I have bought Sweden Road Map, and Travel Videos to understand the place properly before I make my ever first visit. Besides the following popular places in Sweden what are the other ones?

1) Stockholm
2) The Stockholm Archipelago
3) Gothenburg
4) Malmö
5) ICEHOTEL
6) Kosterhavet
7) Marstrand
8 ) “Wallander’s Ystad”
9) Skåne
10) Visby/Gotland Reply to this

Hello! I'm really fond of traveling and I'm currently planning the trip to Sweden, just as you do. So, here is what I've found. There are lots of places that are worth visiting in Sweden. Apart from those, mentioned in your post, I would also visit the following ones:

- the Laponian Area (the vast mountaneous wildlife area in the province of Lapland)
- Kvarken located in the Gulf of Bothnia
- the Drottningholm Palace - the private residence of the royal family in Sweden
- the Tanum Municipality located in the western part of Sweden
- the Gammelstad Church Town - the UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Gammelstaden
- the Øresund Bridge, a combined twin-track railway and a dual carriageway bridge-tunnel across the Øresund strait. the bridge connects Sweden and Denmark. It is also the longest rail bridge in Europe.

Personally, I would like to visit these places. Hopefully, it will be a great pleasure for you to see them as well. Good luck!

Coming from Oslo, I travelled from Stockholm by bus and boat to Gotland, from there by boat and bus to Kalmar which is less interesting but at least has a nice castle and can be used as a stopover and from there I continued to Kopenhagen.

Here is a link to my trip:

You should visit Vasa Museum – this battle ship in icy waters for more than three centuries. Reply to this

Wow!!! Trip to Sweden sounds fun. When are you going there? There are many places to visit there. Some places I will list it to you like Stockholm, the Stockholm Archipelago, Gothenburg, Malmo, ICEHOTEL and Swedish Lapland, Kosterhavet. These are some beautiful places to visit there. You can surf for more places like this. As you are going on a trip, you would be carrying your luggage along you. You can't take you luggage along wherever you go for a visit. You need to keep your luggage somewhere. You can look for some hotels near by which would provide you Hotel Room Safes for storing your luggage as well as your valuable stuff safe.
