Health on the Road

Most of us are fit and healthy when we set out on our travels, what happens when we become ill or need medical attention? What tales have we to tell of our experiences?

A few of my friends have gotten severely ill with stomache bugs in south east asia. The doctors they went to said probably the worst thing they did was take immodium or gastrostop because it inhibits the body from expelling the nasties.
I've also heard good things about ginger tea for stomache upsets and that locally sourced yoghurt and cheese has the areas good bacteria to help combat bugs and bad bacteria. Reply to this
