Travel Documentary Idea

Just looking for some feedback about this subject

I am a 22 year old filmmaker about to graduate school in December..was wondering if anyone would be interested in filming an around the world documentary? I have always wanted to make a documentary about traveling around the world with a young group of people, and showing how travelers network together all over the world. I will probably start trying to get funding for this in the summer and run it all the way til I graduate, but I was wondering if any young travelers out there (recent graduates, or travelers under 25) would be interested in this? and for everyone else who would be interested in seeing it? I think that a lot of people give traveling at a young age a bad reputation because they hear about dangers in other countries and people being kidnapped, etc. I want to show a more positive side of it so people can be more open minded about it.

Anyways just trying to get some feedback, let me know thanks! Reply to this

I think in order to get funding and to drum up interest, you have to make your trip challenging or unique. Like travelling around the world by only using buses and boats, or travelling the globe on $10 a day. These types of things would make for an interesting documentary. Reply to this
