How are you spending it?

I´m in Mendonza for Saint Patrick´s day. While the official night´s festivites are yet to begin, last night saw the beginning of the celebration. Hundreds of people descended onto the streets swarming in and around a local Irish bar adorned with Green, White and Orange.

I didn´t realise it would be cause for such a great celebration out here in Argentina. Where are other people spending the day and is it widely celebrated in other countries? Reply to this

Ive never celebrated St Patricks day much. When I was a kid growing up in Ireland, it was just a day to go to church, whether it was Sunday or not, so I associate it with the opposite of fun. 😊

DUBLIN (AP) — An estimated 500,000 people crowded Saturday into central Dublin to view the St. Patrick's Day parade, a focal point for Irish celebrations worldwide and the start of the tourist season in debt-battered Ireland.
