I will be in Capetown in early September for only four short days on my honeymoon. Since Capetown is a city with tons to do, I know I could probably stay occupied there for weeks. I wanted to find out what everyone recommended as their "must do" activities in the city. We are planning on going cage diving so that will already take up one full day. What are the other "must sees" while we are there?
Reply to this Definitely go up Table Mountain. When I was there (also for 4 days) it was covered by table cloth (cloud) everyday but cleared up the day we left, so we spent the morning up there. The views are stunning.
We also took the train down along the coast to Simons Town, getting on and off where you like.
Then there's the vineyards so a day tour wine tasting is another option.
