I second marklesparkle and his highly interesting blog topics.

I am not sure what an associate producer for National Geographic Television entails exactly, but it seems impressive. Maybe he will tell us more about it here. He is the next Blogger of the Week. 😊

In my opinion, it is well worth trying to get this blogger on the Front Page. Only one recommend so far(mine), but hopefully more this week. Check him out, as a potential to recommend.

Wow - thanks so much, Mel! It's so encouraging to know that other people besides me read my blog 😊 As for the National Geographic job, it mostly entains researching and writing TV documentaries in addition to setting-up and assisting on shoots. I've mostly been working on a series about prisons in North American (the Mexican prison photos/blogs were actually from one of those shoots) but I'm hoping to move onto some other projects soon...

Thanks again for the recommendation! Reply to this

Just one more recommendation, and you will have enough to be a featured blogger on the Front Page of TravelBlog. Hopefully, more people will check out your blogs soon and give that 3rd recommendation. 😊

Cool! 😊

It is pretty amazing to have somebody who works for the National Geographic here on TravelBlog. One reason for starting the Blogger of the Week Awards, was to bring bloggers like marklesparkle with no recommends out from the corners of TravelBlog and make them more prominent. The Featured section of the Front Page is the most prominent position of all on TravelBlog. Congratulations for the second time this week, marklesparkle.

Mark, I bet some of those reading would like to have a job like yours. Do you have any advice for them?
