How we choose our potential destination.
Hi, I'm very interested in how Web 2.0 applications (TravelBlog, Tripadvisor, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace etc) are affecting our travel planning process. Do we trust these sites more or less than a destinations own Tourist Board?
Nik Reply to this I think you need to use as much information as is available to you. This includes all of the sites you listed as well as destination specific tourist boards. I find the best information comes from forums more than review sites but all are handy when planning. The more information one possesses the better off they will be, and these days that information comes at us in many different ways, use it all.
