Paradise is different things to different people, so where is yours?

An endless golden beach and palm trees usually fills the stereotypical view of paradise but I believe paradise is more. A trekking paradise, food paradise, beer paradise, surfing paradise, diving paradise, nightlife paradise or just general traveller's paradise?

Which is a place you find just pure heaven?? Reply to this

For me it's mountains all the way. I'd rather lose a limb than have to spend one week on a white-sand palm tree beach. My most memorable moment on my RTW trip so far has been my trekking in Yading National Park in southwest Sichuan. The Park has a big mountain called Mount Chenresig that is sacred to local Tibetans. Walking around the mountain, with beautiful snowcapped mountains all around, yak pastureland, glacier lakes, mind-blowing views and not a single human soul except a lone tibetan herder was paradise to me (except when I got lost, but that's another story 😊 ).
