Tibet - travelling by train
17 years ago, July 13th 2006 No: 1 Msg: #6682
Hi there, I am wanting to travel into Tibet via the new China/Tibet rail and spend some time in tibet, a couple of weeks probably. Does anyone know of any reputatable tour companies that you would recommmen I go through in order to get a permit? Is anyone planning to go there, whose group I could join? Any advice would be gratefully received. Reply to this

Actually, the railway provides a low-cost way to get there, but now people thrust to get there as soon as possible. Now, no travel company has the right to organize tourists there by railway, coz it's too crowded. Wait..... maybe after the summer holiday, things will be better Reply to this
