Hot to cold, or cold to hot.

How do you reconcile flying from a cold detination to a hot one, or visa versa with travelling light?

I am flying from freezing Germany to sunny Brazil on Saturday.

I will ask my boyfriend to come to the train station with me, so I can wear a ski jacket and boots, until I get on the train, and then he can take them home. Then I will shiver at the airport while keeping my hands warm on a hot cup of coffee, until I get on the plane and wrap myself in the blankets they give out and put on the complimentary socks.

It think I will take a sweater with me too, because they will likely overdo it with the airconditioning on the night busses in Brazil, so that should help with keeping a little bit warm, at the airport. Reply to this

I organize myself beforehand...I buy very cheap winter clothes that I leave behind when I go to a hot country then I buy cheap summer clothes in the hot country as soon as I arrive ( or viceversa). Like this my bag is almost always empty wherever I go. Reply to this
