ok fellow travellers......

i see there is a few options getting from the uk to thailand but id like to take my adventures through europe into africa, down to cape town an back up again into yemen an oman, followed by the route going through saudi, jordan, israel, iran pakistan an into india. This trip so far i would say is very much possible. The bit im abit confused about is getting into china due to tibet being closed or it was at least the last time i tried to get in there. is it possible now ??? I know the burma route is very much closed to us at the moment hay??? OK... BIG QUESTION NOW IS........... WHAT PAPER WORK DO I NEED FOR MY AMBULANCE ie green cards is it??? that i have to organise pria to going into the country mentioned?? where do i get these papers from an whats the kinda damage for them?? travelling over land by foot is no worries but trying to organise my vehicle is another matter...
I know there is bus trips that sort all this out but im not really interested in sharing my trip with 30 other people...
has anyone took a vehicle from uk to thailand or even india or even africa for that matter an what paper work did they need to get sorted...

any help would be fantastic.......all you people out there even thinking of travelling...... GOOOOOOD ON YE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KEEP LIVING THE DREAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reply to this

Me too! That is an amazing journey you have planned.

I have a friend who went from India to Germany on a motorbike. They were able to get transit visas to cross Iran, as far as I remember. I think the transit visas were available at the border and gave them a certain amount of time to cross Iran. Reply to this

If you have questions, just post them in the TravelBlog Support Forum. It sure would be a pity to miss out on reading about a trip such as yours, because of computer problems. 😊

Others who might be able to comment on paperwork you need would be The Travel Camel and le_flow
They both travelled extensively overland in Africa.
