Airline food

Do you like it? What are the best and worst airline meals you have had?

I like airline food. Of course it is not as nice as what would be served in a nice restaurant, or what I would make at home....

The best airline food I have had was flying to and from India. Being stored and reheated seems to make some Indian food taste even better.

I also like the noodles I got on Thai airlines flying in and out of Thailand. Pasta is good too on planes.

The things I dislike are that they never give enough drinks and they sometimes dont have enough vegetarian food for everybody who wants it. Reply to this

Contrary to what most people think, I absolutely love airline food lol.

Thai Airways and Czech Airlines had the best meals, IMO. Reply to this

What food! With all the cuts over here - they often don't serve anything here. The meals I have purchased are over priced and stale. Reply to this

Does that make the flights less expensive? If it does, then I wish all airlines would only serve food for sale. And then there would be the added advantage of the trolleys not blocking up the aisles for such long periods. Reply to this

They do the trolley. They sell the food from the trolley. Some airlines sell the drinks also, so it actually takes longer because they are making change. Reply to this

recently posted my air meals to Airline Gourmet. They have a great database of air meals and traveller reviews.
