Africa Tour operater .
I am just coming back from 4 days trekking Mt. Kenya. It is very confusing to
choose a good trekking/ safari company in Nairobi and as the company I went
with is not mentioned in your guide book I would like to recommend
as a fabulous company to go with.
The guides and porters were very knowledgeable and professional and
managed to get everybody of the 29 member group I went with (mostly people
from the British army on an adventure training trip) to the top of Mt. Kenya.
The food was great, the atmosphere cheerful and friendly, and everybody was
always supported by the team, both with offers
of help, carrying backpacks, or
just a smile at the right moment. We managed to get up to the 16355ft.
viewpoint at pt. Lenana at exactly dawn and experienced a fantastic sun rise
over the stunning mountains.
These guys are reliable, professional and deserve mentioning in your forum!
Thanks

So Im trying to plan a trip to Kenya for next year and I wanted to ask you a question. It seems that you arrived in country without having actually pre booked a safari company...is that correct?? The reason Im asking is that these companies that offer Safaris on the internet or through travel agancies are , one - too many to make a choice, and two - extremely expensive. i thought I might just arrive in Kenya. make my way to the parks and then once there hire a company to drive me through the park...is that possible??? is it smart to do?? or should I just choose one of these companies from home and make the booking?
let me know you experience and opnion
