Hi all,
I'm not sure where the majority of everyone on this forum lives, but when you get travel insurance, how much notice do you have to give the airline when canceling so you get your money back?
Is that the same country to country, like in the US, Canada & the UK?
Thanks
Michelle
Reply to this Hi Michelle,
Welcome to TravelBlog.
The length of required notice would depend on the particular policy, so you'd need to check the fineprint to be sure. I don't think it would be dependent on the country of residence or citizenship.
Reply to this Hi Michelle,
Travel insurance policies vary from service provider to service provider, each have their own scheme and policies. Most travel covers give you a refund if you cancel your plans but they do deduct some amount - service charges generally.
You must read the fine print or call up customer care and confirm the facts before you pay up for the insurance.
And happy traveling!
